Dunki was theatrically released worldwide on 21 December 2023. The film received mixed-to-positive reviews from both critics and audiences, alike. Dunki grossed ₹470.6 crore worldwide against a production and marketing budget of ₹120 crore (US$14 million), emerging as the fifth highest-grossing Hindi film of 2023 and the eighth highest-grossing Indian film of 2023. Based on collection, film considered as blockbuster. At the 69th Filmfare Awards, the film received nine nominations, and won Best Supporting Actor for Kaushal.
